About me

Vanessa Maryam Berndt

During my work as a stress management trainer, I noticed that although common methods such as progressive muscle relaxation according to Jacobsen and autogenic training enable short-term relaxation on a muscular level, they cannot resolve deeper-seated patterns and chronic pain.

In 2019 I fulfilled a dream and moved to the Sahara desert in Morocco for 4 years. Here I lived in and from nature, which also meant doing without conventional medical care. This was often a challenge with my own chronic pain.
I found out about TRE® by “chance” and was quickly impressed by the profound effect of this method. Immediately after the first two weeks, I became more aware of my body as a whole, a lasting sense of relaxation set in and my sleep became more restful. I was also amazed to notice the dissolution of blocking mental patterns.
TRE® allowed me to directly feel the unity of body and mind. For me, it is the most effective method for harmoniously reuniting body, mind and soul.

My life in the Sahara has shown me that most of the problems of modern, western people can be traced back to the fast pace of everyday life and a lack of connection to oneself.
We place far too much emphasis on the intellect and the constant increase in efficiency and productivity.

We have forgotten how to simply BE.

Only when we become aware of ourselves, our emotions and, above all, our body and practice moments of stillness do we come closer to our true nature again.

I am happy to support you on the way there...

  • at your home (Bonn/Cologne/Meckenheim/Bad Neuenahr area)
  • online
  • or in the Sahara of Morocco (more information here)

Important: I am currently in a three-year training program to become a certified TRE® provider, which will be completed in summer 2025. Until then, I offer individual trainings for a donation! If required, I am happy to pass on to certified providers.

Please note:
Coaching/counseling is not therapy and does not replace it! Although I am a certified counselor, as such I am not permitted to diagnose and treat mental illnesses. Therapy looks into the causes of a person's biography. Coaching/counseling, on the other hand, is future- and solution-oriented and is based on positive psychology.
Together we awaken your greatest possible potential in the here and now.
Counseling and coaching can therefore be a good preparation for therapy.
If you are already in therapy, coaching is a very effective form of accompanying support, which can also take place in collaboration with psychotherapists if desired.
